We wish to inform current subscribers of the National Geographic: People, Animals, and the World archive that National Geographic recently decided to retire the National Geographic Traveler magazine, ending with the final December/January 2020 issue. While new issues of the magazine will no longer be released, subscribers will continue to have access to previous issues of the magazine from January/February 2010 to present as part of their subscription.
As a replacement for the National Geographic Traveler magazine, subscribers will now have access to the National Geographic History magazine from the January/February 2019 issue to the present, and new issues of the magazine will be added following the 45-day embargo period. National Geographic History magazine is published on a bi-monthly basis.
