- Nearly 400 biographical entries on noteworthy Shakespearean actors and directors as well as contemporaries of Shakespeare.
- Entries from the much-revered and comprehensive six-volume set The Encyclopedia of the Renaissance.

No matter what aspect of Shakespeare you’re interested in, Gale Literature Resource Center has the content to support you and your students.
In addition to the added content, researchers will find a wealth of analysis on Shakespeare and his times, contemporary and historic theater reviews, biographies, and more. And when cross-searched with Gale Literature: LitFinder, which provides direct access to Shakespearean plays and poetry, students have everything they need to study the Bard, his works, and the world he lived in.
